Alright, this will come as a shock to many. Something is looking up for Britney Spears at last – the troubled pop star has been voted one of Playboy magazine’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities.

The ‘Toxic’ singer has joined the likes of Beyonce Knowles, Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson on the list, named online by readers of the men’s publication.

Other stars on the list include Alicia Keys, Rose MCGowan, Denise Richards, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend Holly Madison has also made it to the list alongside the tycoon’s other two current ‘girlfriends’ Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

Meanwhile Spears has finally been released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center.
According to reports, the 26-year old singer slipped out quietly with the help of a private security detail and returned home after spending just 7 days in the hospital even though her psychiatrist, Dr. Deborah Nadel, had extended her stay to a 14-day involuntary hold till the next hearing of her case on 14th Feb.

Also if you are wondering why some celebrity names are in bold while some are not. Well the highlighted names are my personal favorites too. They do deserve to go in the sexiest list. I am still not a big fan of Beyonce!
